Easter Baskets!

These are made from old rectangle cookie tins. I just covered it with paper and fringed the edges for grass. I put yellow ribbon around it and colored a sweet little bunny. I glued everything together and made a card stock handle. I filled these with goodies and they're ready to get send off to my cousins!;)

Cool technique for dying shoelaces!!

I went to the dollar store this evening and I got a pack of shoe laces. There's 10 total white strings and 6 black ones. I also got some other things and I'll post my shopping lists soon. I got a ack of 4 food colors and decided to try something new.

What you need:
4 plastic bowls with lids
4 food colors (liquid works best)
8 white shoelaces
Chopsticks (optional)

Instructions:
Fill each little bowl about half way with water. Then add 8-10 drops of coloring depending on the strength of the color you want. Stir the colored water well. Put 2 laces in the water and use the chopsticks to move around gently. Put the lid on and leave to soak for about 3-5 minutes. Use the chopsticks to remove the laces afterwards and place on the lid of the bowl. Allow to dry. Now you have fun easy laces!! These have multiple uses such as, shoe la Ed, keychains, bracelets or anything else fun!;)
